Every company will have their own software factory: enabling engineers to leverage a fleet of agents, operating always-on agents that make fixes and ship improvements while the humans sleep.
Cloud Agents are the future, they are just nowhere near evenly distributed yet.
To convert the maximum potential energy of coding agents into maximum kinetic energy— useful engineering output that can land without being bottlenecked on human capacity to review and validate— every company needs an automated code review and validation system. This is not merely about reviewing diffs for bugs. Automatic validation means an AI system that is enforcing conventions, principles, processes and actually running and using code changes (even more thoroughly than a human would) to ensure that the changes are correct, do what they are meant to do, and should be shipped.
Every modern engineering team will eventually have these ingredients, but very few actually want to build all of this infrastructure themselves.
